Foreskin constriction surgery can be caused by a narrowing of the foreskin opening, the part of the skin that covers the glans at the end of the penis. It can be the result of congenital or chronic inflammation, or part of diabetes. Timely treatment is important, as progression of the disease can lead to constant complaints, pain, urinary obstruction, urinary tract infections, extensive inflammation or malignant lesions.
During the surgery, part of the foreskin of the genital area, the foreskin, is removed and the two wound edges are then reconciled with stitches. In many cases, the genital brake may also be cut through if it is short and requires a solution.
Elimination of infection due to foreskin stricture, difficulty in urination. Reduced risk of sexually transmitted diseases and reduced incidence of male genital epithelial malignancies.
On doctor’s advice, physical rest for a few weeks, followed by gradual exercise and a balanced lifestyle are recommended to ensure a speedy recovery, and you can return to your normal lifestyle after 1-2 weeks. Complete relief from symptoms is expected in about 6 weeks, by which time more active exercise can be undertaken.
There is currently no other procedure that can replace the intervention.
