He received his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest. In 2000, he was awarded a doctorate in medicine for his research in the field of photodermatology and oncodermatology at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. He has worked as a senior physician in the Department of Dermatology at the South Pest Centre Hospital (which is also a national lymphedema centre and wound treatment centre). He is a qualified lymphedema specialist. Lecturer at Hungarian and foreign training courses and conferences. Head of the Nyirocoedema Outpatient Clinic at the Semmelweis University Internal Medicine and Oncology Centre. He worked as a consultant dermatologist at the National Institute of Cardiology.
