1987-1989: United States: fellowship in the biochemistry research laboratory of Professor Dr. George Grunberger (Detroit, U.S.A.), where I mainly investigated cellular mechanisms involved in the development of non-insulin-dependent diabetes in experimental animal models, biochemical systems and clinical studies
After my return, I continued to work at the SOTE III Clinic of Internal Medicine as a physician, lecturer and researcher
1991: I successfully defended my PhD thesis “Investigation of signaling mechanisms in insulin resistance.” entitled
In January 1995, I went on a one-week study trip to Paris (Evry) to the Genethon genetics laboratory, one of the world’s leading clinical genetics research centres
In March 1998, I passed the Hungarian Diabetes Association’s examination as a specialist in diabetes
In 2005 I passed the examination in clinical pharmacology
