An exception to this is the anaesthesia consultation, which is always carried out with the help of Wábrer Medical Center anaesthesiologists.
The cost of tissue sampling may vary depending on the type and nature of the operation and, as a consequence, the cost of sampling is not included in the surgical package for every evening.
According to the legislation in force and the policy adopted by the Board, patients with three vaccinations are not required to have a PCR test for surgery.
What is difficult to remove does not need to be removed. However, we recommend that jewellery is left at home.

A single room can be requested by prior arrangement with the case manager, with a possible extra cost depending on the availability of beds.
This is possible, but please indicate this in advance when accepting the offer. We are in contact with an external translation agency so we can do it within 3-5 working days at an extra cost. Your case manager will be able to give you more information.

It is possible to stay more than one night after the operation, but this depends on the surgery package and will always cost extra.

You will receive a certificate of absence from the clinic, which you must hand in to your GP to claim sickness benefit. Only your general practitioner will provide you with a sickness absence document for convalescence.

There is no ambulance available at our clinic to take you home. We recommend that you ask a relative to drive you home or call a taxi. We do not recommend driving after surgery.

It is advisable to obtain a dressing from the pharmacy and re-bandage if necessary. Care should be taken to ensure that the wound is not exposed to water.
How long after the operation can I fly?You can fly 10 to 14 days after the operation, but make sure you discuss this with your surgeon.
