He has a very long experience abroad: 2 years in the USA as a research physician and 12 years in Germany as a research, teaching and patient care clinician. The latter led to his habilitation at the Department of Dermatology and Allergology at the University of Munich (LMU) and his obtaining his associate professorship in 2016. In the same year, he applied for and was awarded the position of Director of the Clinic of Dermatology, Nematology and Dermatroncology at Semmelweis University and was the Director of the Clinic for 5 years. He continues to work part-time in Munich. In 2017, he was appointed professor. As a result of his diverse and colourful experience abroad and at home, his expertise, which has been presented at numerous national and international conferences, and his rich teaching and research activities, Professor Sárdy has a wealth of experience in the whole range of dermatological diseases and is therefore often able to offer his patients not only conventional but also individualised treatments, adapting to the needs of the patients. He always treats with a friendly, smiling style, which is particularly helpful when treating frightened children.
