Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology is a speciality dealing with diseases of the eye.
Our clinic offers a full range of ophthalmology services, including comprehensive eye examinations, screening tests and workplace eye examinations. In addition to the treatment and care of acute and chronic eye diseases, we also offer spectacle fitting and recommend dioptres for refractive errors of the eye.

When is an eye examination recommended?

glasses test – visual impairment
eye complaints, e.g. conjunctival haemorrhage, red, ocular discharge, dry-eye complaints
family history e.g. glaucoma (over 40 years of age in any case)
internal medical conditions: hypertension, diabetes
age-related macular degeneration after the age of 50

fundus examination with pupil dilation as required
