B.TOX treatment

During the procedure, our specialist uses a small dose of the product, which targets dynamic wrinkles. The minimal quantity means that there is no harmful effect on the body; it acts only at the injection site. The aim of the treatment is to smooth out facial features and create a more refreshed, relaxed face.

1. During your personal consultation, your expectations will be clarified and your doctor will explain the expected results of the treatment and any side effects. Taking into account your lifestyle habits, medical history and skin condition, we will offer you a personalised solution.
2. After disinfecting the treated area, a thin needle is used to inject the required amount of active ingredient into the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation. The process may be slightly uncomfortable, but it is not really painful. The length of the treatment depends on the size and number of areas treated, usually 10-20 minutes.
3. The results of the anti-wrinkle toxin treatment are seen within a few days (2-5 days), with the full effect developing in about 14 days.

The anti-wrinkle toxin treatment carried out with due care by our practitioners only reduces the movement of the muscles concerned, i.e. it does not freeze the face and does not produce unnatural effects.

The durability of the anti-wrinkle toxin treatment is temporary, usually lasting 4-6 months, but the absorption time of the substance used is different for each person.

• After the treatment, move and twitch the treated muscles, but massage is forbidden!
• In case of bleeding, the treated area can be gently smoothed with a brush.
• After the treatment, the patient must remain in an upright position for at least 5 hours, and must not lie down or bend over.
• It is recommended to sleep only on your back for a few days.
• Avoid sports, sunbathing, sunbeds and saunas for at least 2 days.
• Cosmetic facial treatments and facial massages are prohibited for 2 weeks.
• Dental examinations and oral surgery should not be planned for 2 weeks after the operation.

In addition to its anti-wrinkle effect, BV.TOX treatment is also becoming a popular treatment for increased sweating. Its blocking action effectively stops the sweat-producing glands from working, so sweating in the armpits, palms and soles of the feet or, in men, the scalp can be eliminated for up to 9-12 months. The treatment helps to get rid of aesthetically disturbing sweat stains, thus improving quality of life.

1. Abnormal sweating can have a number of causes: if it is caused by a metabolic or hormonal problem (e.g. thyroid disease), the underlying condition should be treated first.
   If there is no underlying abnormality, our specialist will explain the expected results of the treatment and any side effects.
2. After disinfecting and anaesthetising the treated area, a thin needle is used to inject the required amount of active ingredient into the area to be treated at several points. The treatment may be a little uncomfortable but not painful, and its duration depends on the size and number of areas treated, usually between 10 and 30 minutes.
3. It takes about 2 weeks for the anti-wrinkle toxin treatment to take effect.

The duration of the anti-wrinkle toxin treatment varies from patient to patient: sometimes the sweating disappears completely, but it usually lasts for 9-12 months. After that, it can be repeated indefinitely.

• After the procedure, avoid vigorous physical activity and sports for a few days.
• Tanning beds, sunbathing and saunas are also not recommended for a few days.
• Alcohol consumption is prohibited on the day of the treatment.
• It is not recommended to use a sunscreen on the day of the procedure.

For wrinkles:

• wrinkles between the eyebrows (“angry” wrinkle);
• horizontal forehead wrinkles;
• eyebrow lift;
• crow’s feet around the eyes;
• fine wrinkles on either side of the bridge of the nose (“bunny wrinkles”);
• treatment of wrinkles around the mouth (gummy smile, chewing muscle treatment).

Other cases:

areas prone to increased sweating: armpits, soles, palms.

• During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• In case of weakened immune system, acute illness (fever);
• Muscular and nervous diseases;
• Allergies, hypersensitivity;
• Persistent infectious skin disease (herpes), dermatitis, abnormal wound healing;
• In the presence of autoimmune disease.

• Mild pain, bleeding in the injected area.
• Mild swelling of the treated area, redness.
• There may be a temporary loss of muscle strength around the treated area (e.g. palms).

Possible side effects usually resolve spontaneously and can be cured with follow-up treatment recommended by our specialists.
