I specialise in hip and knee prosthetics and arthroscopic (arthroscopic) knee surgery.
I use digital planning for all my patients and perform most hip replacement implantations using a soft tissue sparing minimally invasive technique. This results in little blood loss, less pain and allows for rapid mobilisation. Almost half of my patients leave the hospital on the day of surgery.
In almost 40% of my knee replacement patients, I use a low-impact partial knee replacement, which involves much less surgical effort, allows for faster rehabilitation and more natural mobility. My patients have the option of a personalised knee replacement, which is custom-made based on CT scan.
I have considerable experience in the arthroscopic (arthroscopic joint) treatment of knee injuries, including surgery for meniscus tears, cartilage injuries and instability. I ran the North Oxfordshire Acute Knee Outpatient Clinic for 6 years where I had the opportunity to introduce state of the art techniques.

Current workplace:
I have been working in the UK since 2005 and have attended a number of training courses and courses over the last 15+ years. In 2009-10 I completed a special 6 month intensive hip and knee surgery fellowship at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital. From 2010, I worked as a consultant surgeon in several renowned hospitals in England, and from 2013-19 I was a senior surgeon at one of the University Hospitals of Oxford. Since 2019 I have worked exclusively in the private sector, at the largest private hospital in North Oxfordshire.
In my UK workplace, the innovative solutions I have introduced, such as same-day prosthetic surgery, anterior hernia hip replacement, personalised prostheses and the use of robotics, are all designed to achieve better outcomes and more efficient care.
