I graduated from Semmelweis University Medical School in 1990. I obtained my board certification in Internal Medicine in 1995, my qualification in Diabetology in 2007, and my qualification in Lipidology in 2002. I earned my PhD degree in 2016 and completed my habilitation in 2026.
I began my medical career at the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine of Semmelweis University. Later, I worked at the National Medical Center and subsequently served as a Chief Physician at the Medical Center of the Hungarian Defence Forces. Currently, I see patients at the Internal Medicine, Diabetology, and Lipidology clinics of Wáberer Medical Center, while also contributing to the professional work of the Pest County Neuropathy Center.
Since 2010, I have been teaching at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Semmelweis University, where I serve as Associate Professor in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition Sciences and am responsible for the courses Clinical Dietetics and Clinical Knowledge. I regularly participate in undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD education, supervising theses and scientific research projects.
My primary areas of scientific interest include diabetes mellitus, lipid metabolism disorders, obesity, nutrition science, and cardiometabolic diseases. I am the author of numerous national and international scientific publications, contributor to book chapters, and a regular reviewer and editorial board member of international scientific journals.
I am a member of the Hungarian Society of Internal Medicine, the Hungarian Diabetes Association, the Hungarian Atherosclerosis Society, and the Hungarian Society of Hypertension. In addition, I serve on the Scientific Committee of the National Association of Hungarian Dietitians.
