What is Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy?

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy is a fast and effective conservative treatment method for people with musculoskeletal disorders. The treatment uses sound waves generated to mechanically stimulate various tissues, which promotes healing by increasing circulation.

The advantages of this modern, focused technology over the current widely used conventional radial shockwave are the controllable treatment/recovery depth and the higher energy output achieved with fewer shocks, resulting in immediate and rapid effects.
